FluxMed respiratory mechanics monitors’ flow sensor is designed to allow for the monitoring of all kinds of patients.

Patients with non invasive ventilation, placing the flow sensor between the mask and the whisper.

Patients with invasive ventilation, placing the sensor between the endotracheal tube (or tracheotomy) and the Y-piece of the respirators’ tubing.

Patients with spontaneous respiration, helping the patient’s breathing with a sensor-attached mask.

Patients on a T tube; for them, it is of particular interest to maintain the monitoring once the respirator is withdrawn, to assess whether the patient has overcome the weaning tests of the respirator.
